It was an early morning rise at the hotel to catch the shuttle over to the airport and board the plane. Our flight was uneventful and Owen enjoyed watching all the tow tractors at the airport.

When we arrived at Orlando, we met up with Eric, Jodi and the boys and made our way to the arrivals hall where we met the Disney Magical Express folks and boarded our bus over to Mickey's place. We checked into the Wilderness lodge for the duration of our trip. After checking our carry-on bags with the desk, we went directly over to Magic Kingdom. The Wilderness lodge is a quick direct boat ride from/to the Magic Kingdom, and Owen loved the boats.

Once in the main gate, Owen proclaimed an urgent need to ride the train, so we hopped on and rode over to toon-town to visit Mickey. Suprise!! Minnie was there too, so we got a family picture...

The rest of the afternoon was spent around the Magic Kingdom. Owen was enthralled with all the rides and thoroughly enjoyed Goofy's Barnstormer and the race cars. We had a character dinner at the Crystal Palace with the crew from Pooh. We met Tigger, Pooh, Eyeore and Piglet. Owen jumped up and down with Tigger, which was the highlight of the evening.

Later in the evening, we met up with Grandma, Grandpa and the rest of the family crew and got settled in our rooms.
